Toteme, the StockÂholm-based fashÂion house, has takÂen a leap in its expanÂsion by openÂing its UK flagÂship store at 12 Mount Street on DecemÂber 9. This 180 square meter space sigÂniÂfies ToteÂme’s maidÂen EuroÂpean venÂture outÂside SweÂden, markÂing a pivÂotal moment for the brand’s globÂal presence.
The LonÂdon Toteme bouÂtique is a tribÂute to SweÂden’s design herÂitage, skilÂfulÂly juxÂtaÂposÂing hisÂtorÂiÂcal VicÂtoÂriÂan archiÂtecÂture with the brand’s disÂtinct modÂern expresÂsion. The space embodÂies meticÂuÂlous craftsÂmanÂship and ToteÂme’s simÂplisÂtic design codes withÂin a serene and conÂtemÂpoÂrary setting.

The inteÂriÂor of the store is charÂacÂterÂized by minÂiÂmalÂisÂtic yet texÂtured designs. LimeÂstone covÂers the walls, floors and fixÂtures, and graphÂic accents in bronze pay homage to the VienÂna SecesÂsion moveÂment, which inspired ToteÂme’s monoÂgram, enhancÂing the immerÂsive expeÂriÂence withÂin the space.
CuratÂed artÂworks and furÂniÂture by 20th-cenÂtuÂry Swedish designÂers and conÂtemÂpoÂrary interÂnaÂtionÂal artists adorn the store, includÂing a promiÂnent piece by AmerÂiÂcan post-conÂcepÂtuÂal artist Wade GuyÂton greetÂing visÂiÂtors at the entrance, paired with a clasÂsic sculpÂture by SweÂden’s revered sculpÂtor, Carl Milles.
InteÂriÂor highÂlights feaÂture exquisÂite furÂnishÂings such as a nickÂel sofa by Marc NewÂson, armÂchairs, and a table designed by Otto Schultz, comÂpleÂmentÂed by a daybed enviÂsioned by Olle Engkvist. The store also boasts lamps inspired by GunÂnar Asplund, a pioÂneer of funcÂtionÂalÂist design, iniÂtialÂly craftÂed for ToteÂme’s New York flagship.

Karl LindÂman, Co-Founder of Toteme, expressed the sigÂnifÂiÂcance of this space, emphaÂsizÂing the meticÂuÂlous craftsÂmanÂship and attenÂtion to detail that defines the store’s design. LindÂman notÂed the iniÂtial minÂiÂmalÂisÂtic impresÂsion, revealÂing unique texÂtures and details upon closÂer inspection.
At its grand openÂing, the Toteme store at 12 Mount Street will feaÂture pieces from the Pre Spring 24 colÂlecÂtion, spanÂning all catÂeÂgories, includÂing the debut jewÂellery colÂlecÂtion, reafÂfirmÂing ToteÂme’s comÂmitÂment to offerÂing a curatÂed and immerÂsive shopÂping experience.
The luxÂuÂriÂous details of their new LonÂdon store undeÂniÂably go hand in hand with the underÂstatÂed luxÂuÂry of Toteme’s prodÂucts, creÂatÂing an ultiÂmateÂly indulÂgent way to shop.
